Enterprise SIP Trunking & VoIP β€” Backed by 42+ Years of Telecom Experience

NENA Participation

Our commitment to 9-1-1 excellence through NENA membership.

What is NENA?

NENA β€” the National Emergency Number Association β€” is the only professional organization in the United States solely focused on 9-1-1 policy, technology, operations, and education. Founded in 1982 as a not-for-profit corporation to further the goal of "One Nation β€” One Number," NENA has grown to serve thousands of members across 48 chapters nationwide and around the globe.

NENA's mission is to foster the technological advancement, availability, and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system. The organization promotes research, planning, training, and education with the objectives of protecting human life, preserving property, and maintaining general community security.

As the voice of 9-1-1, NENA develops critical industry standards, including those governing Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) systems that enable modern IP-based emergency communications. These standards define how voice, text, data, and video information flows from the public to emergency services.

DIDLive / PEC and NENA

Parwan Electronics Corporation (PEC), the parent company of DIDLive, is a proud member of NENA. This membership reflects our deep commitment to ensuring that every voice service we deliver β€” from SIP trunking to toll-free routing β€” properly supports emergency calling.

As an E911 service provider, DIDLive must ensure that when your end users dial 9-1-1, their calls reach the correct Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) with accurate location information. Our NENA membership helps us stay current with evolving requirements, participate in industry discussions, and implement emergency services in line with national standards.

When you choose DIDLive as your voice services provider, you're working with a company that doesn't just meet the minimum regulatory requirements for emergency calling β€” we actively participate in the organizations that define those requirements.
